The new movable restraint system “Emergency Opening SafeStar” with containment level H2 and effective area W4 was specially developed for the area of median crossings and is used for flexible control of traffic flows.
With a minimum opening length of 36.00 m, the door can be opened by two people within 15 minutes. It is not necessary to use special tools. The minimum construction length can be modularly adapted to local conditions in 4.5 m or 9.0 m steps. The integrated emergency opening can be opened in less than 2 minutes in an emergency. The use of standard components from the SafeStar family ensures easy connection to existing vehicle restraint systems and simplifies assembly, maintenance and repair.
